Colleen Landkamer, president of the National Association of Counties and a county commissioner from Blue Earth County, Minn., has a message for local and tribal governments:

"My name is Colleen Landkamer. I'm president of the National Association of Counties. I want to urge all local governments and tribal governments to participate with LUCA. When you get information from the Census Bureau, please review and update -- make sure that your address lists are correct and send that in to the Census Bureau. This is critical when you look at not only funding for your neighborhoods, but also how your voice is heard in local governments, in state governments, and in Congress."
