Mapping Census 2000: The Geography of U.S. Diversity uses data from the Census 2000 redistricting (Public Law 94-171) summary files released last March. Topics covered include total population, race and ethnicity and population under age 18. The atlas presents pairs of maps showing a Census 2000 population distribution map on one page and one with corresponding 1990-to-2000 change-in-population data on the other. Each map features county-level detail for the 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
