Local Census 2000 Supplementary Survey Results

What: The Census Bureau's Kansas City Regional Office will brief media on
new Census 2000 Supplementary Survey (C2SS) data on demographic,
economic, social and housing characteristics for cities and
counties of 250,000 population or more. These data, including those
for the Wichita, Kan., Metropolitan Statistical Area, will
illustrate characteristics, such as education, language spoken at

of collecting long form-type data independently of a decennial
       census.
