                  **CENSUS BUREAU MEDIA ADVISORY**

                Census Bureau to Brief Reporters on 
             Census 2000 Long-Form Demographic Profiles

What:     The Census Bureau's Kansas City regional director and state and 
          local officials will brief reporters on the release of Census 
          2000 demographic profiles containing social, economic, and 
          housing characteristics for Oklahoma, Oklahoma County 
          and Oklahoma City. These data are derived from responses to 
          census long-form questions.

When:     Tuesday, May 21; 10:30 A.M. (local time)
