Susan Lavin has been with the U.S. Bureau of the Census since 1974 in various supervisory and management positions. She has worked in several regional offices, as well as the Bureau's headquarters in Suitland, MD. Susan has been the regional director of the Denver Regional Office since January, 1997. The Denver region covers a ten state area from the Canadian to the Mexican borders. The ten states are: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada.
