                     Census Bureau Releases Census 2000 
               Demographic Profile for the U.S. Virgin Islands

 The U.S. Census Bureau today released the Population and Housing Profile: 
2000 for the U.S. Virgin Islands [pdf], a table that includes Census 2000 
data on topics such as age and sex, race, household relationship, school
enrollment, place of birth, income and poverty, and housing occupancy and
tenure (whether the occupant owns or rents).

 The profile includes 56 data items in all, plus percentage distributions.
