              Census Bureau Releases Census 2000 
        Demographic Profile for Northern Mariana Islands

  The U.S. Census Bureau today released the Population and Housing 
Profile: 2000 for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands [pdf],
a table that includes Census 2000 data on topics such as age and sex,
ethnic origin and race, household relationship, school enrollment, place
of birth, income and poverty, and occupancy and tenure (whether the
occupant owns or rents).

  The profile includes 60 data items in all, as well as percentage
distributions.
