* October 27, 2009 -- Release of 2006-2008 ACS Social, Economic, Housing, and Demographic 3-Year Estimates

The U.S. Census Bureau today released the 2006-2008 ACS 3-year estimates. These estimates are based on data collected from January 2006 through December 2008 and are published for geographic areas with populations of 20,000 or more.

The 2006-2008 ACS 3-year data describe the average characteristics for the 3-year time period. Guidance on how to use the ACS multiyear estimates can be found at: http://www.census.gov/acs/www/UseData/myeoverview.html.

* October 30, 2009 -- Release of 2008 ACS 1-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files

The U.S. Census Bureau plans to release the 2008 ACS 1-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files on Friday, October 30, 2009. General information about the ACS PUMS data can be found at: http://www.census.gov/acs/www/Products/PUMS/index.htm
