The 2006 American Community Survey Table Shells contains all of the table shells for Detailed Tables, Single Year Profiles, Ranking Tables, and Subject Tables along with a listing by data release in .xls format.

The 2006 American Community Survey FTP Site contains the ACS 2006 data as they are released.

The The 2005 FTP Site contains the 2005 ACS release of Detailed Tables, Single Year Profiles, Multiyear Profiles and Ranking Tables.

Detailed (Base) tables provide basic housing and population characteristics these tables are the foundation upon which higher-level profiles are built. The core tables come complete with the margin of error, as indicated by the upper and lower bounds around the estimate. These bounds represent the 90-percent confidence interval.

2005 Single-Year Profiles provide estimates of selected demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics for each geographic area. The profiles come complete with the margin of error, as indicated by the upper and lower bounds around the estimate. These bounds represent the 90-percent confidence interval.

Ranking tables show how state and large jurisdictions compare to each other for 86 selected characteristics.
