Preliminary Building Permits data are released on the 12th workday of each month with the New Residential Construction Press Release. The data are available at the U.S. and Region levels.
Revised Building Permits data are released on the 18th workday of each month. The data are available at the U.S., Region, State, Metropolitan Area, County, and Permit-issuing Place levels.
Annual Building Permits data are released on the 1st workday of May for the previous year. The data available at the time of the annual release are at the U.S., Region, State, Metropolitan Area, County, and Permit-issuing Place levels. Data are available for all Counties and Permit-issuing Places.
