EWEN M. WILSON
Chief, Company Statistics DivisionEwen Wilson has served as a Division Chief at the U.S. Census Bureau since 1994. He is responsible for programs collecting economic and business statistics, including the Survey of Business Owners. Previously Dr. Wilson held positions as Executive Director of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and as Assistant Secretary for Economics at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. His private sector experience includes positions at the American Meat Institute, the national trade association of meat packers and processors. He earned a B.Sc. from the University of London (England), a M.S. from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. in economics from North Carolina State University.
