This includes establishments classified in Major Groups 40-49. The Census excludes government-operated businesses. The Geographic Area Series uses 133 SIC or kind-of-business (KB) classifications. The level of kind-of-business detail varies by KB by total number of establishments by geography. These include the number of establishments, number of employees, and revenue.
