COAL AND OTHER MINERALS AND ORES (SIC F5052)

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of coal and
coke; copper, iron, lead, and other metallic ores, (including precious metal
ores); and crude nonmetallic minerals (including concentrates), except crude
petroleum.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of
nonmetallic minerals used in construction, such as sand and gravel, are
classified in Industry 5032.  Establishments primarily engaged in the
wholesale distribution of crude petroleum are classified in Industry Group
517.

SIC 5052 is subdivided in some tables into the following catagories-

1. Coal.

2. Other minerals and ores.


COAL

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of coal and
coke.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of
crude petroleum are classified in Industry Group 517.


OTHER MINERALS AND ORES

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of copper,
iron, lead, and other metallic ores, (including precious metal ores); and crude
nonmetallic minerals (including concentrates), except crude petroleum. 
Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of nonmetallic
minerals used in construction, such as sand and gravel, are classified in
Industry 5032.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale
distribution of crude petroleum are classified in Industry Group 517.
