DURABLE GOODS, NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED (SIC F5099)

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of durable
goods, not elsewhere classified, such as musical instruments and forest
products, except lumber.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale
distribution of sheet music are classified in Industry 5192.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of lumber are classified in
Industry 5031.

SIC 5099 is subdivided in some tables into the following catagories-

1. Musical instruments and supplies.

2. Forest products, except lumber.

3. General merchandise - durable.

4. Compact disks, prerecorded audio tapes, and phonograph records.

5. Fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment.

6. Other durable goods.


MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND SUPPLIES

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of musical
instruments and musicians' supplies.  Establishments primarily engaged in the
wholesale distribution of sheet music are classified in Industry 5192.


FOREST PRODUCTS, EXCEPT LUMBER

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of forest
products such as ties, logs, poles, stumps, and cordwood.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of lumber are classified in
Industry 5031.


GENERAL MERCHANDISE - DURABLE

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of a general
line of durable goods with no one line accounting for more than 25 percent of
the total sales.


COMPACT DISKS, PRERECORDED AUDIO TAPES, AND PHONOGRAPH RECORDS

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of compact
disks, prerecorded audio tapes, and phonograph records.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of blank tapes are classified
in Industry 5065.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale
distribution of prerecorded video tapes are classified in Services, Industry
7822.


FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND FIRE SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of fire
extinguishers and fire safety equipment.


OTHER DURABLE GOODS

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of durable
goods such as game machines, gas lighting fixtures, luggage, portraits, and
signs (except electric).
