POULTRY AND POULTRY PRODUCTS (SIC F5144)

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of poultry and
poultry products, except canned and packaged frozen products.  This industry
does not include establishments primarily engaged in the killing and dressing
of poultry, which are classified in Manufacturing, Industry 2015. 
Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of packaged
frozen poultry are classified in Industry 5142, and those distributing canned
poultry are classified in Industry 5149.

SIC 5144 is subdivided in some tables into the following catagories-

1. Live poultry.

2. Poultry and poultry products, except live.


LIVE POULTRY

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of live
poultry.  Establishments primarily engaged in the killing and dressing of
poultry are classified in Manufacturing, Industry 2015.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of packaged frozen poultry
are classified in Industry 5142.  Establishments primarily engaged in the
wholesale distribution of canned poultry are classified in Industry 5149.


POULTRY AND POULTRY PRODUCTS, EXCEPT LIVE

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of poultry and
poultry products (except canned, packaged frozen products, and live poultry). 
Establishments primarily engaged in the killing and dressing of poultry are
classified in Manufacturing, Industry 2015.  Establishments primarily engaged
in the wholesale distribution of packaged frozen poultry are classified in
Industry 5142.  Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale
distribution of canned poultry are classified in Industry 5149. 
Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of live
poultry are classified in live poultry.
