MEATS AND MEAT PRODUCTS (SIC F5147)

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of fresh,
cured, and processed (but not canned) meats and lard.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of frozen packaged meats are
classified in Industry 5142, and those distributing canned meats are
classified in Industry 5149.

SIC 5147 is subdivided in some tables into the following catagories-

1. Meats and meat products, except boxed beef.

2. Packaging boxed beef.


MEATS AND MEAT PRODUCTS, EXCEPT BOXED BEEF

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of fresh,
cured, and processed (but not canned) meats and lard.  Establishments
primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of frozen packaged meats are
classified in Industry 5142, and those distributing canned meats are
classified in Industry 5149.  Establishments primarily engaged in the
wholesale distribution of boxed beef are classified in boxed beef.


PACKAGING BOXED BEEF

Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of boxed beef. 
Establishments primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of frozen
packaged meats are classified in Industry 5142, and those distributing canned
meats are classified in Industry 5149.
