Electronic Reporting Resources
(Form MA-1000)

Electronic Reporting

Software is available for the 2001 MA-1000(L) form. If you would like software mailed, please email or call us and we will promptly send it to you.

    System Requirements

  • Hardware: IBM compatible PC
  • Operating System: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95/98
  • RAM: Minimum 16MB
  • Free Disk Space: Minimum 10MB
  • Disk Drive: CD and/or high density 3.5" disk drive

Importing Data

You can import establishment data into the MA-1000 software from spreadsheets or databases provided that the data is stored in the proper format.

Importing is cumulative, meaning you can import all data at once, or in multiple "passes." If you choose to import data in passes, you must still retain the unique primary key field in the first column of the spreadsheet and fill in the rows of the spreadsheet as appropriate. For the MA-1000, the unique primary key for importing is the plant's Census File Number (CFN).

The import format is a ‘tab’ or ‘comma-delimited’ text file (tab-delimited is preferred) in which the establishment data appears in columns; each row contains data for a different establishment.
