The Census Bureau will host its annual Census Fair in the Rayburn Building’s Gold Room on July 23, 2009 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This year’s theme is the Rollout of the Congressional Partnership Toolkit. Other demonstrations and exhibits include Census In Schools, Recruiting, National and Field Partnerships, Privacy and much more. Members and staffers are encouraged to attend.
The Congressional Partnership Program is designed to engage members of Congress with the Census Bureau Regional Directors in their districts for promotion of the 2010 Census. As a member of Congress, use the Congressional Partnership Toolkit to help with ideas on the many ways you may get involved now and in the future. As a major stakeholder, you can help ensure that everyone in your community is counted so that your district receives its fair share of important services and resources.
