Bureau of Industry and Security's (BIS) Fourth Annual Export Control
Forum, March 16th-17th in Newport Beach, CA

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) will conduct the fourth
annual Export Control Forum in Newport Beach, CA on March 16, 2009. 
This forum is a full-day program designed to cover recent developments 
in export control regulations and policies.  The one-day format provides a
cost-effective way for export control professionals to receive updates
on the export control field and to interact with key agency officials
from the Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Census Bureau, and
the Office of Foreign Assets Control, etc. The event will conclude with a 
gala reception for all participants and attendees.

Two half-day "Special Topic" sessions on Technology Licensing and
Encryption Controls will be held on March 17, 2009.
***These two sessions are independent and are scheduled to run
concurrently.

This event was created to increase BIS-sponsored training
opportunities on the west coast.  Please act quickly as space is limited.
