This message is to advise AES filers that the AES Production Region 
opened earlier than expected at 6:00am EDT on June 7, 2004.  Companies 
may begin submitting live data using the new AES Commodity Redesign 
formats immediately.  All preliminary signs show that the enhancements 
to the Redesigned AES have gone smoothly.  


The AES outage was scheduled to last a maximum of 78 hours and end at 
6:00am EDT on June 8, 2004.  Those companies anticipating the outage to 
last the maximum 78 hours may continue to report under the Downtime 
Policy until 6:00am EDT on June 8, 2004.  As a reminder, please begin 
submitting AES records for those shipments exported during the outage 
via the Downtime Policy no later than June 8, 2004.
