AESDirect Platform Change
During the past couple of days, we have seen a hike in our call volume. Changes to the AESDirect platform have generated error messages that you may not be familiar with. In order to facilitate your submission of Electronic Export Information (EEI) to the AES, we have listed responses to the most common questions received.
Expiration timeframes for disabling inactive accounts is 30 days. E-mail warnings will be delivered to the user once a day after 25 days of inactivity. You will be reminded of the need to change your password.
Once an Account is disabled, the Account Administrator or User Manager will need to reactivate the User. If the Account Administrator is the only account registered for the company, a fax request must be sent to AESDirect Technical Support to re-enable the Account.
