CORRECTION UPDATE: Port of Export Code Updated in the Automated Export System (AES)

*** Please note the updated acceptable modes of transportation. Please disregard the broadcast message sent at 10:00 AM today. The correct broadcast is below. Per Broadcast dated 12/30/2011, port 3991 is no longer valid in AES. ***

Please note the following Port of Export Code has been updated in the AES effective immediately. “Rail” has been added as a valid method of transportation (MOT) in addition to “Air” and “Truck.”

The following Port of Export code has been UPDATED in the AES:

Port of Export        Description                           MOT
3901                     Chicago, IL                           Air, Vessel, Rail            

All AESPcLink users must update their AES code tables to reflect the update to the Ports of Export. Users of AESDirect who file via the website at www.aesdirect.gov will have their code tables updated via the program automatically.

2009 Constant Dollar Data
- The Census Bureau identified a processing error that caused incorrect deflators to be applied to the revised data for 2009. The data have been corrected.
