JANUARY 2005 SPECIAL DUTY PROVISIONS CORRECTIONS

The U.S. Census Bureau identified a processing error that caused the wrong rate provision and country subcode indicators to be assigned to goods under the several special trade programs. As a result, the dutiable value a nd calculated duty for countries included in these special programs was incorrect in the January 2005 import statistics. The data below provides corrections at a summary level for January 2005 statistics. With the release of the May 2005 statistics on July 13, 2005, the cumulative statistics have been updated to reflect these changes. 2009 Constant Dollar Data
- The Census Bureau identified a processing error that caused incorrect deflators to be applied to the revised data for 2009. The data have been corrected.
