Notice to Users of the Constant Dollar (Real) Data Series

The U.S. Census Bureau has revised the Chain-weighted Dollar series. The base year for the new Chain-weighted Dollar series is 2005. The Chain-weighted Dollar series was rebased to place the time series on a more current dollar value. This makes the trade information easier to relate to the current time period. Three years of chained dollar data (2006 - 2008) have been published in the 2008 Annual Revision, released on June 10, 2009. Data for 1994 through 2008 are available in the tables below. Export Chain-weighted data from January 1994 forward have been revised to accommodate the result of analysis of the aircraft industry.
