The census tract relationship table for the Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal compares 1990 census tracts to the census tracts used for the Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal. The table is sorted by 1990 census tract and provides a record for each 1990 census tract and those Dress Rehearsal census tracts that comprise the area of the 1990 census tract. Each record in the relationship table provides the following information:

SpaceField Name
1-21990 state Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code
3-51990 county FIPS code
6-91990 census tract basic number
10-111990 census tract suffix number
121990 part indicator
13-14Dress Rehearsal state FIPS code
15-17Dress Rehearsal county FIPS code

22-23Dress Rehearsal census tract suffix number
24Dress Rehearsal part indicator
25-38Area measurement in square meters

The part "P" flag indicates that only a portion of the census tract covers the area of the other census tract within the record. No part flag next to a census tract indicates that the entire census tract is within the area of the other census tract.

The Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal did not include all of Sacramento (06067) and Lexington (45063) counties. The relationship table lists all census tracts in these two counties to ensure complete coverage.

NOTE: These census tract numbers apply only to the Census 2000 Dress Rehearsal. They are NOT Census 2000 census tract numbers.
