The summarize function creates a statistic for Average Household Size instead of stating "n/a".
The number showing is simply left over data, probably from when the file was initially created. This will be changed to "n/a" in LV6.
Some people have experienced trouble when trying to access MARPLOT from the Population Estimator in LandView.
Specifically, after completing the estimation calculation and selecting the "Show this radius on map" button. MARPLOT may return the following error:
"Sorry a technical error occurred. FSWriteIfDirtyBuf() returned -1 in FlushBufferedFiles()"
To alleviate this problem we suggest that you open both LandView and MARPLOT before using the Population Estimator.
MARPLOT Fonts on Macintosh
For those users that have never installed LandView, you will receive a message that says "MARPLOT fonts are not available". This is because the MARPLOT fonts for the Macintosh were left out of the installer for LandView. You can download these fonts.
Corrupt Blocks File on LandView National Network Disc
We have discovered that a block record is corrupted in the blocks.lv5 file. When one tries to compute a 1 mile radius using the LandView 5 Population Estimator in La Porte, Texas (29.42.6N, 95.4.58W) the program returns the following message "Error in file "blocks.lv5". This file is damaged....."
We have fixed the problem and anyone who ordered this product prior to August 7th 2003 will automatically receive a replacement DVD.
