The Identify Census Areas at current map pointer is a function that will
identify the state, county, census tract, and census block group at the
location of the current map pointer. This feature is available from the
Sharing Menu - LandView in MARPLOT®.
The system will first attempt to locate a census block group polygon at
that location. The block group identification number has within it the
identification for state, county, and tract.
If a block group polygon cannot be found at the map pointer location
it will display blanks. Note that this would only happen if the pointer were
located outside the state boundary.
