This feature provides a quick method of determining the state, county and census tract code associated with a street address. If the particular address that you are looking for can not be found at either site shown below, you can then use MARPLOT® mapping function within LandView® to determine the census tract for that address by locating the street address on a map. To learn more about using LandView IV to look up a census tract for an street address, please see Locating an Address.
If you would like to look up an address on the internet to obtain a census tract number then you could use the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council Geocoding System. The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (Council) (FFIEC) provides this service to facilitate public access to data that depository institutions must disclose under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1975 (HMDA). In addition, the site provides the aggregation of annual HMDA data, by census tract, for each metropolitan statistical area (MSA).
