Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) Codes
All federally recognized American Indian areas (AIA), governmental counties (and equivalent areas), incorporated places, consolidated cities, and governmental Minor Civil Divisions (MCDs) are assigned and identified by a unique BAS code.
