2010 Census Centers of Population for the United States

This page contains links to the mean and median center of population tables for the United States, in comma delimited text (.txt) format.  To access these tables, select the links below.

Note:  The centers of population in these files were calculated over the 50 states and the District of Columbia.  To maintain consistency with the centers of population calculated for past decades, Puerto Rico was not included.  Each table contains the following three fields:

• POPULATION:  2010 Census population tabulated for the United States
• LATITUDE:  latitude coordinate for the center of population for the United States
• LONGITUDE:  longitude coordinate for the center of population for the United States
