In response to guidance provided from the Department of the Interior in a February 3, 2011 letter, the Census Bureau has changed the Oneida Nation Reservation boundary in New York State. As a result of this change, the Census Bureau is releasing updated geographic products for three counties in New York.
The spatial changes include a change to the extent of the Oneida Nation Reservation, a change to the inventory of tribal census tracts and tribal block groups on the Oneida Nation Reservation, and 2 census blocks in Madison County (36053) - 360539401033033 and 360539401033034.
Some of the attributes in the Faces files for Lewis County (36049), Madison County (36053), and Oneida County (36065) have also changed.
