2012 Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS): Advance Response

The Census Bureau is mailing an advance response letter to all federally recognized American Indian tribes with reservations of off-reservation trust land, governmental counties (and equivalent areas), incorporated places, consolidated cities, and governmental Minor Civil Divisions (MCDs) in December of 2011 and January of 2012.

All BAS respondents that wish to submit boundary changes, corrections, or feature updates must request maps from the Census Bureau or download materials from this web site. All 2012 BAS maps, forms, letters and user guides are available for download.

Participants who wish to have the Census Bureau ship paper maps or MAF/TIGER Partnership Software (MTPS) materials must notify the Census Bureau prior to February 1, 2012. You may also request materials, update contact information, and report no changes using the online form below.
