In some instances, when the ADOBE Reader software is launched in the Netscape and Explorer Web browsers, the index map may pop-up an error message box regarding the thumbnail(s). Once you click the OK button on the message box, the PDF opens; however, without a thumbnail(s).
To resolve this problem, disable the auto launch in your Web browser and set Acrobat Reader so that it runs outside of your Web browser. This will enable both the index map and thumbnail(s) to be viewed intact without any error messages.
You can also try using the Opera Web browser, which shows the associated thumbnail images without any problem.
