The Mississippi River flood area identified on these maps is based on significant river flood outlook boundaries issued by the National Weather Service (www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/nationalfloodoutlook).  Counties and parishes that correspond to the river flood outlook boundaries represent the Mississippi River flood area on these maps.  These maps are available in Adobe's Portable Document Format.
