These wall maps depict the congressional districts in effect for the 108th Congress of the United States (January 2003-2005). A separate map exists for each of the 435 congressional districts, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In addition to congressional district boundaries, the maps show American Indian/Alaska Native/Hawaiian Homeland areas, states, counties, county subdivisions, places, consolidated cities, military installations, National Park Service lands, roads, and hydrographic features. The maps were created using the U.S. Census Bureau's TIGER database (Census 2000). Each map measures 36 by 42 inches.
These page-size maps identify the relative locations of congressional districts for states that have multiple districts. In some cases, where districts are very small in relation to the size of the locator maps, districts are labeled and shown in a range. Locator maps highlighting the locations of specific districts are included on their corresponding wall maps.
