File Naming Conventions

The file names for the 2010 Census - Census Tract Reference Maps are composed as follows:

DC10CT_C<SS><CCC>_<###>.pdf
<SS> = 2 digit state FIPS code
<CCC> = 3 digit county FIPS code
<###> = map sheet number, where:
     ‘000’ = Index sheet
     ‘001’ – ‘999’ = Parent sheets
     ‘A01’ – ‘Z99’ = Inset sheets

Example file names:
DC10CT_C26017_000.pdf – Index map for Bay County, Michigan
DC10CT_C26017_023.pdf – Parent sheet ‘23’ for Bay County, Michigan
DC10CT_C26017_A01.pdf – Inset area ‘A, sheet 1’ for Bay County, Michigan
