This large format reference map, which measures 56 x 42 inches, shows state/state equivalent and county/county equivalent boundaries as of January 1, 2010, for each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each state or state equivalent is identified with its two character U.S. Postal Service abbreviation and two digit Federal Information Processing Series (FIPS)/ANSI code. Each county or county equivalent is labeled with its name and three digit FIPS/ANSI code.
