A: Using the Circle Tool From MARPLOT's Drawing Tool Palette Enables You To Draw A Circle At Any Given Radius Centered Anywhere On the Map
2. Unlock the Temporary layer. The temporary layer is the last layer in the Layer List. You must unlock this layer to access the draw tools. To do this, simply click on the Lock Icon located in the far left column.
3. Select OK to exit the Layer List menu.
4. With your Pointer Tool, place the arrow on the center most point of your focus area and click.
5. Select the Circle Tool. Click on the central point of the study area. Holding down on the mouse, move away from your core study area until you have reach the desired radius.
6. You can view the radius dimensions in the lower left corner of the computer screen.
7. Double click on the circle. The Object Settings window will appear. This will allow you to change the circle's line width and the line color of the circle.

3. Enter the desired radius box located in the lower right corner of the window.
Example: 10.00 (10 mile radius)
4. Select either Block Group Uniform Density Method or Block Group Centroid Method.

5. Select Estimate Population.
