Quarterly Survey of Public Pensions 1st Quarter 2014 – Quarterly Survey of Public Pensions provides national summary data on the revenues, expenditures, and composition of assets of the largest defined benefit public employee retirement systems for state and local governments. This survey currently consists of a panel of 100 retirement systems, which comprise 89.4 percent of financial activity among such entities, based on the 2007 Census of Governments.
Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenue (1st Quarter 2014) – These tables provide quarterly estimates of state and local tax revenue data. The information contained in this survey is the most current information available on a nationwide basis for government tax collections. (For this survey, the 1st Quarter 2014 covers the period October 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014).
2012 State Government Tax Collections– The survey covers all public school systems that provide elementary or secondary education. The data include revenue by source (local property tax, monies from other school systems, private tuition and transportation payments, school lunch charges, direct state aid, and federal aid passed through the state government), expenditure by function and object (instruction, support service functions, salaries, and capital outlay), indebtedness, and cash and investments.
2013 State Government Tax Collections– This report provides a summary of taxes collected by state for up to 25 tax categories. These tables and data files present the details on tax collections by type of tax imposed and collected by state governments.
