These losses may be somewhat offset by the inclusion in the CPS of births to immigrants who did not have their children born in the United States and births to nonresident women who had their children born in the U.S. These births would not have been recorded in the registration system. The ages of the women in this table and similar tables in this report refer to the age of women at the time of the survey and not at the birth of the child. 1/ Persons of Hispanic origin may be of any race. 2/ Includes separated women.
