CPS User Note: Not Hispanic Migration 1998-2002

February 25, 2008

In the 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 CPS files, some not Hispanic sections of iterated tables either mistakenly included 1) the total population or 2) only the White, not Hispanic and Black or African American, not Hispanic populations. There were also family householder, not Hispanic sections that mistakenly contained White, not Hispanic family householders; Black, not Hispanic persons; Asian/Pacific Islander, not Hispanic persons, and Other, not Hispanic Persons. The not Hispanic iterations of the affected tables have been corrected and are listed below.

  • 1998 - Table 30
  • 1999 - Tables 15, 16, and 30
  • 2000 - Tables 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30
  • 2001 - Tables 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 20, 30
  • 2002 - Tables 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30
