Ferret Data Extraction and Review Files

Ferret lets you look at already created tables or allows you to create your own tables/extract files. If you need many variables or would like to download the whole dataset, visit the Ferret FTP page.

The following data are available in Ferret:

• March Current Population Survey (CPS)
• Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP)
• Survey of Program Dynamics (SPD)

Note: In order to use Ferret, you need to know which survey you want and which variables to use. You can do this by looking at the data dictionary of each survey through the Ferret FTP page.
