Student Career Experience Program - Information Technology Specialist

HOW TO APPLY

Computer specialists assist in:

  • Participating as designer, coder, or tester.
  • Developing the logic of programs.
  • Coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs or routines.
  • Developing test data and testing procedures and analyzing results.
  • Supporting local area networks and mainframes.

At least sophomore status. Major in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, or Statistics. Course work in programming languages required.

At the time of graduation, candidates should have a bachelor's degree (at least 120 semester hours of higher level study) with a major in: computer science, information science, information systems management, mathematics, statistics, operations research or engineering.

candidates will need to have 24 semester hours in Geography or related qualifying fields.
