October 5th marks the first annual National Manufacturing Day. Manufacturing Day is designed to help dispel myths and misconceptions about manufacturing, its role in the economy, and the excellent job opportunities it offers. Dozens of organizations have united to launch this initiative and invite the public to participate in manufacturing plant tours and open houses.
