Subject Content: This disc contains a single file (CSV format) showing county population estimates, with a breakdown for age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin, for the years 2000 to 2005. Census 2000 figures are as of April 1, 2000; estimates base figures are as of April 1, 2000; 2000-2005 estimates are as of July 1 of each year.
The county estimates also are available online by state. The Census Bureau has issued the combined file on CD-ROM as a service to customers who prefer to work with the data for all counties at once.
File Format: CSV comma delimited (.csv files are compatible with spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel). Record layout included on the disc.
