Small Area Health Insurance Estimates. These 2006 estimates show the demographic characteristics of people with and without health insurance coverage for every state and county in the nation. They are based on models combining data from a variety of sources, including the Current Population Survey, Census 2000, the Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program, County Business Patterns and administrative records. They are the only source for county-level estimates of health insurance coverage status until this fall, when single-year estimates from the 2008 American Community Survey for all geographic areas with total populations of 65,000 or more are released.
America's Families and Living Arrangements: 2007. Who are America's stay-at-home moms? Do they tend to have more or less education than mothers in the workforce? Are they younger or older? This report from the Current Population Survey provides a look at the basic trends in household and family composition. It also shows state-level variation in the kinds of households children live in, such as married-couple families, unmarried-partner households and single-parent families.

2009 Capital Spending Report: U.S. Capital Spending Patterns: 1999-2007. A look at capital expenditure patterns reveals data about firms with and without employees, expenditures for structures and equipment, and expenditures for major industry sectors. The data comes from the Annual Capital Expenditures Survey.
2007 Economic Census: Mining Industry Series. This is a series of national-level data files on the mining sector (NAICS 21). These include data for industries such as crude petroleum, natural gas, gold, silver, iron, copper, lead, sand, gravel and others. The files provide data on the number of establishments, shipments, payroll, number of employees, value of product shipments and other data items by industry.
