Customers can order most Census Bureau data products online by visiting our online sales catalog.  You can order online using a credit card (American Express, Diners, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa) or an electronic check.  If you prefer, you also can call our Customer Services Center at (301) 763-INFO (4636).

Customer Service representatives are ready to take your order and provide information about Census Bureau data. We sell data on CD-ROM and DVD and in print-on-demand reports, along with maps needed to use the data. The Customer Services Center order line is open Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-5:30 pm E.S.T.; Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm E.S.T. We are closed on Wednesday from 2-3 pm for staff training.

To place an order, call the Customer Services Center on (301) 763-INFO (4636), place your order online, or fax your order to (301) 457-3842. Prepayment is required for all products.

If you are a frequent customer, ask about setting up a deposit account.  If you prefer to pay by paper check, make checks payable to Commerce-Census and they may be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service to--

Shipping:

Products are shipped by Federal Express at no additional charges to the customer.

  • CD-ROMs and DVDs are shipped within 3-5 business days.

  • Print-on-demand reports are shipped within 7 business days.

  • Maps are shipped within 10-14 business days.

  • Out-of stock items and products requiring special work such as tape to CD-ROM conversion take longer.
