data on establishments with payroll offering accommodations for the United States, States, and
selected metropolitan areas (MA's). The report covers a variety of
establishments--hotels, motels, motor hotels, and other lodging
places. These places include rooming and boarding houses,
organizations' hotels and lodging houses available to members, and
sporting and recreational camps.
Depending on the type of accommodation, tables provide the number of establishments and guestrooms, receipts by source, payroll and employment, hotels, by type, food services, franchise affiliation, and number of transient and residential guestrooms.
