Subject content: Provides 1992 data for the United States on receipts, capital expenditures, depreciable assets and operating expenses for firms with employees in the service industries (for example, health and legal services).

Operating expenses cover payroll, employer cost for fringe benefits, and various other costs, ranging from advertising to equipment repairs.

Figures on gross value of depreciable assets, depreciation charges, and lease and rental payments--as well as capital expenditures--apply to buildings/structures and, separately, to machinery/equipment.
