the United States and regions. The report presents, by family
type, household and financial characteristics as well as housing
quality. Tables also show neighborhood quality, journey to work,
mobility, and additional residential units.
Data are cross classified by total occupied housing units; owner-occupied housing units; renter-occupied housing units; occupied housing units with a Black or Hispanic householder; units with an elderly householder; units in central cities, suburbs, outside metropolitan areas, and urban and rural areas.
This report is issued jointly by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Bureau of the Census.
